Studies have shown that, even with the right qualifications, workers over 50 are often overlooked for new jobs. And an analysis by Urban Institute and ProPublica found that more than half of workers over 50 lose their jobs before they are ready to retire. 

Today, AI and Automation disproportionately affects low-wage workers, but all industries are at risk of disruption and job loss from robots or automation software. Almost half of the 55 million U.S. workers are employed in low-wage jobs that often don't enough for their daily expenses.
